One Year Around the Sun
Hello beautiful humans,
Well, here we are. Almost an entire season has passed, and I am finally sitting down to write this letter.
I have certainly felt a little bit of a block in coming back to this page. It's been sitting on my mind almost every day. The usual "I'm going to go for a walk, process, talk out loud, and see what comes through." I've done some planning and envisioning, but I just haven't quite hit the start button.
So, start I shall..
There's something quite fitting about that as we come to the end of Libra season.
Libra invites us to explore balance, communication, and partnership. Not just in our relationships with others, but in the relationship we have with ourselves. Sometimes balance isn't about having everything perfectly aligned. Sometimes it's simply about showing up.
Which brings me to something really special..
We've officially spent one whole year together in the Lumina Letters!
We began this journey last Libra season, on a bit of a whim, really. I had no expectations of where it would go, just a desire to explore, reflect, and share something meaningful.
Wow, what a beautiful year of commitment.
We've moved through the entire zodiac together, welcoming in the energy of each season, sitting with it, practicing it, and hopefully learning a little more about ourselves along the way.
One of the greatest gifts has been hearing from you. Knowing that something I've shared has resonated, sparked a reflection, or offered a different perspective genuinely lights my heart up.
So, thank you. Truly.
I hope you continue returning to these letters. They're all here on my website, waiting for you as we move through the seasons again. Something you read a year ago might land a little differently today.
But this isn't where the Lumina Letters end. It's really just the beginning.
I feel this next chapter taking a slightly different shape. There will still be astrology, intuition, and practical ways to bring these energies into our everyday lives. Just with a little more fluidity.
Speaking of fluidity... of course, we're going to get a little astrological download..
As I sit here writing this, I'm feeling a little scattered. A bit untethered. Like there's a whole lot happening in my mind, but I'm not quite sure how to get it all out. Part of me thinks, "Shauna, maybe write this on a day when your thoughts feel a little more centered."
But then I look at the sky. Naturally.
The Moon is in Aquarius, the Sun is in Libra, and there's this interesting T-square happening between the Moon, Jupiter, and Mercury. A whole lot of energy to process.
T-square energy can bring tension, an internal push and pull, almost like something needs to move or be expressed, but you're not entirely sure where to begin. With all this air energy in the sky, there can be a tendency to stay up in the mind, processing, thinking, trying to make sense of it all.
Well, I'm feeling a little bit of that today.
Interestingly enough, when I look at where we might find some balance within this particular T-square, it points us toward Taurus.
Back into the body. Into nature. Into simplicity.
I went for a walk earlier and intentionally chose the sunnier route. The podcast I happened to listen to was talking about being in the body. Even in sessions with some beautiful humans earlier today, there were these recurring conversations about bringing the work out of our minds and into our bodies.
Here I am, literally rolling my shoulders around as I write this, trying to shake off some of that energy and settle back into myself.
I don't need every thought to be perfectly organized, beautifully articulated, or even entirely centered before I share it.
There's a rawness in expression. There's beauty in allowing ourselves to be where we are, without needing to make it something else first.
Sometimes it's just being here. Hand on heart. Back into the body. Showing up as we are.
That's the work, my friends.
I'm excited to see how this space continues to evolve, and I'm so glad you're here for it.
You'll hear from me soon. I hope you have a beautiful day and do something that brings you back into your body.
Until next time, may you move with grace, breathe with intention, and walk in balance.
Let the soul be in harmony with the truth.
